This is a very interesting product that is just coming into the market now after some years of intensive testing.  It’s called the BioWave Hydro and it operates by creating a subsonic harmonic wave that radiates out from the machine and makes plants breathe better.

Biowave Hyro
Biowave is a revolutionary patent pending machine that increases plant yields by an average of 20%.  These products featuring stainless steel cages that counter rotate, have been proven in three years of lab and field tests to create more yield in vegetables and fruits.

Many growers also have reported a huge reduction in insect loads.

Dimensions: 34.5″ x 12″ x 12″ weight 49 Lbs. Its plug and play- just plug into any wall socket. The DI 9200 will run either on 110V or 240V. It draws only 60 watts when running.

After three years in development and testing, this state-of-the-art stainless steel machine generates subsonic harmonic waves that resonate with the plants natural frequencies and cause dilation (opening) of the stomata.  Lab, farm and hydroponics tests confirm an average yield increase of 20% and a 60% to 95% elevation in brix levels.  .

A stomata is a microscopic pore on the surface (epidermis) of land plants. It is surrounded by a pair of specialized epidermal cells called guard cells, which act as a turgor-driven valve that open and close the pores in response to given environmental conditions. The open stomata allows carbon dioxide, oxygen and water to enter or exit the plant.

BRIX is the sugar content of an aqueous solution. One degree Brix is 1 gram of sucrose in 100 grams of solution and represents the strength of the solution as percentage by weight (% w/w). The higher the BRIX content, the sweeter the fruit or vegetable.

The BioWave machine is a technology that boosts the photosynthesis in plants, it helps the plants to breathe better by opening the stomata.  During the night there is no photosynthesis, and so there is no need to use the BioWave.

Current Biowave Hydro Tests by Dr. Lynette Morgan in New Zealand have further confirmed the above results in greenhouse tomatoes.
“The effect of the BioWave treatment increases stimulation of photosynthesis and other biochemical reactions dealing with assimilate production and have no significant affect on mineral uptake.” Dr Morgan

Sun Circle and Sun Twist Replacement Motor

The Sun Circle and Sun Twist rotating light sources for hydroponics systems were a good dependable product that provided years of service.

However, both products have now been retired and replaced with a new Solar Revolution  rotating light system.  Its unique design allows the gardener to add capacity as needed and set rotation distance all in one unit. The standard unit will rotate two, three or four lights up to 355 degrees and then reverse direction.

Frequently the original Sun Circle & Sun Twist Light Movers are still providing or could provide excellent service but their motors, plastic gears or armature brushes may be broken or worn out.

We have replacement motors, plastic gears that attach to the motors and the Armature brushes that provided the power to the motor during the rotations available from the original company that created the Sun Circle and Sun Twist Light Movers.

Sun Circle Motor 1997 or earlier

There are two motors available for the AH-Sun Circle or Sun Twist Light Mover depending upon the year that you purchased the original light mover.

Sun Circle Motor 1998 or later

Sun Circle Motor 1998 or later

Both motors will work. The difference is in the holes drilled for attaching the motor to the light mover.

There are two alignment holes which would need to be drilled out if the replacement motor you purchase now is not the same one as the original motor.

A Grainger motor for Sun Circle or Sun Twist light movers purchased or built prior to 1998 requires oiling occasionally for proper maintenance.

The Hurst motor is a direct replacement for Sun Circle and Sun Twist light rotators manufactured in 1998 or later. It runs at 16 revolutions per hour and does not need to be oiled.   Complete installation instructions are included.

Mobile Solar Power

Portable solar power for quiet, dependable offline electrical power

Solar Power Trailer unit provides offsite 30 amp 120 volt electrical source

Take electricity from the sun, run it through a charge controller and into a large battery bank. Have an inverter pull that power out of the batteries (when needed) and make it available as pure sinewave current.  The trick: do all this inside of an enclosed trailer.Around the construction jobsite, or at a concert or public event, where communication is a matter of safety or listening pleasure, the silent power generation of a solar generator is even more valuable.

Designed for the small event, job site or remote living situation, it’s the perfect balance of power and transportability. Light enough to be towed behind most 4 or 6-cylinder vehicles and powerful enough to run 3,500 watt loads, the MS-150 is perfect for users with light to medium power needs where cost and size are a concern.

Solar Power Replacing Fossil Fuel Generators

Thanks to many recent advancements in the solar industry, solar generators can now do the work that diesel, gasoline, and propane generators used to do. Fossil-fuel generators can still be used in conjunction with our sun powered generators, but now they play a backup role, for the occasional battery boost.

Generate Solar Power to:

Whether you are powering:

  • a livestock feed sprouter
  • shearing sheep
  • a remote radar system
  • a rural cabin
  • an offline construction site
  • a political rally
  • a park concert

you do not have to settle for a noisy, stinky generator that relies on increasingly expensive power sources.

Durable

With panels designed to withstand hail one-inch in diameter at 90 mph, industrial-grade forklift batteries and inverters built to standup to rugged conditions, these solar generators will go the distance and perform for decades.

A traditional generator must run at all times to provide power, which means that the annoying hum of the internal combustion engine and the output of hazardous gasses such as carbon monoxide are always present.

Reliable

Our solar generators do not rely solely on the Sun. All of our systems can be charged by grid power, or with a traditional generator on those days that the sun does not shine. And with only a handful of moving parts, few things will ever have to be replaced during the units life. The beauty of our solar generators lies in their simplicity.

Affordable

Even though the original cost for a solar generator is higher than some petroleum generators, it will save you money in the long run. These units will last longer, require less maintenance, and do not rely on increasingly expensive fuel.

Fossil fuel generators must also be refilled with fuel frequently, a costly chore, and a difficult one when working in certain locations. On top of this, maintenance costs such as oil and filter changes, and eventually engine overhauls, add to the cost of the produced watt.

Mobile Livestock Fodder Sprouter

3 Alternative Fodder Sprouters

3 Livestock Grass Sprouters

SRFs Alternative Feed Systems for livestock have been specifically developed to sprout grain and legume seeds for highly nutritious and cost effective livestock feed.

Grow Spring Season Quality Green Grass Indoors Out of the Weather all Year around

Produce up to one-half ton of highly nutritious and tender Spring season quality green grass daily for your livestock inside the comfort of a shed regardless of your local weather or climate conditions. Any animal that forages will consume the feed produced. For example; Cattle, Horses, Goats, Sheep, Hogs, Chickens, Zebras and other Zoo animals and many more.

Cost and Operation:

SRFs Alternative Feed System units operate on an average power cost of $2 per day. The system uses only .5 to 1.0 gallons of water to produce 2.2 lbs of green grass, whereas conventional growing methods require approximately 21 gallons of water. The irrigation water can be re-used for animal hydration.

These units will produce highly nutritious feed at a per-pound cost of $.03 – $.06 cents. Additionally, dependence upon rain or soil moisture content is eliminated as this unit is a controlled growing environment. Spring pasture quality green grass fodder can be available year around

The feed is harvested in a sprout mat that is completely edible and high in nutrition. The entire process, from seeding of the growing trays to actual fodder feed, takes only six days. Growth is achieved in a totally controlled environment which gives the producer the ability to provide a consistent high nutrient 100 percent organic green feed to their animals regardless of weather or unstable market prices.

Depending on the size of the system purchased, a typical operation takes from only 15 to 60 minutes per day to harvest, clean and seed the AFS unit.

Animals consume all of the biscuit–the roots and the green roughage–so it minimizes waste on feed. You have a highly nutritional feed that’s high in moisture, so there’s a better hydration rate and better nutritional absorption into the bloodstream. It’s easier for the animals to digest.

We recommend feeding the sprouts on day 6 or 7 because that is when the sprout/seed is at it’s optimum nutritional value.

Even better, the AFS requires no pesticides or fertilizers

Feeding: Based on suggested Fodder nutritional data:

Day to day feeding: 1% of animals total body weight per day. For an 800 pound animal you would feed approximately 8 pounds or 1/2 of a biscuit.

Finishing Weight feeding: 3% of animals total body weight per day. For a 1200 pound steer you would feed approximately 36 pounds or 2 biscuits per day.

We also recommend providing about one-half this amount of dry hay to add roughage and improve the nutritional value of each feeding.
